How we collect, use, store and protect the personal data you submit through this website and in the course of a debt recovery matter.

Last updated: August 2026

Who we are

Dubai Debt Collection ("we", "us") operates the website at dubaidebtcollection.com and provides commercial and consumer debt recovery services in the United Arab Emirates. We are a debt collection agency, not a law firm.

For any question about this policy or about data we hold, contact contact@dubaidebtcollection.com or call +971 4 294 1815.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details — name, company, email address, telephone and WhatsApp number, and country.
  • Claim details — the debtor's name and location, the amount owed, the currency, invoice dates, the type and age of the debt, and your description of what has happened.
  • Documents — invoices, contracts, purchase orders, delivery notes, cheques, statements of account and correspondence you upload or send us.

Claim documents frequently contain personal data about third parties, including individual debtors and named contacts at debtor companies. By submitting them you confirm you are entitled to share that information with us for the purpose of pursuing the debt.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard server log data, including IP address, browser type and pages visited.
  • Analytics data via Google Analytics, including which pages were viewed and whether a telephone or WhatsApp link was clicked. This is used to understand how the site is used, not to identify you personally.

Why we use it

PurposeWhat this means
Assessing your claim Reviewing the documents and forming a view on recoverability, the route and the rate.
Pursuing the debt If you instruct us: verifying the debtor, issuing a formal demand, negotiating, and where necessary referring the file to our associate advocates.
Communicating with you Responding to your enquiry and keeping you updated on the matter.
Record keeping Maintaining records of instructions, contact made and settlements agreed.
Improving the website Aggregate analytics about how the site is used.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use claim details or documents for marketing.

Who we share it with

  • The debtor, to the extent necessary to pursue the debt — the amount claimed, its basis, and the documents relied on.
  • Our associate advocates in the UAE, where a matter is escalated to formal proceedings and you have approved that referral.
  • Partner recovery agencies in another jurisdiction, where your claim is against a debtor outside the UAE and you have instructed us to pursue it there.
  • Service providers who host our systems and website, under obligations of confidentiality.
  • Authorities, where we are required to disclose by law.

Storage and security

Data is held on access-controlled systems, and claim documents are accessible only to personnel working on the matter. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; if you are sending particularly sensitive material, ask us for a secure upload link rather than attaching it to an email.

How long we keep it

Claim records and documents are retained for as long as the matter is active and thereafter for the period necessary to meet our legal, regulatory and accounting obligations. Enquiries that do not proceed to instruction are retained for a shorter period and then deleted.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, ask us to delete data where we are not required to retain it, or object to particular processing. Write to contact@dubaidebtcollection.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies necessary for it to function and analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works.

Third-party links

Where this site links to another website — for example WhatsApp — that service has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
