Debt collection in Ajman
Recovery of unpaid invoices and commercial balances from debtors registered in Ajman and Ajman Free Zone. No win, no fee, with a straight assessment of whether the debt is worth pursuing.
What makes Ajman claims distinctive
Ajman Free Zone has long been one of the least expensive routes to a UAE trade licence, which has two consequences a creditor should understand before placing a claim.
- Many debtors are small, thinly capitalised entities. A low-cost licence is a legitimate way to start a business and also a low-cost way to establish one that does not last. Verifying whether the entity is still active is not a formality here — it is the first question.
- The operating business is often elsewhere. A company licensed in Ajman may trade almost entirely in Dubai or Sharjah. That does not weaken the claim, but it changes where contact and any enforcement would realistically happen.
- Individuals behind the company matter more. Where a cheque or personal undertaking was given, it is frequently the strongest part of the file. See cheque recovery.
The single most useful thing we do on an Ajman claim is establish, early, whether there is anything to recover from. Escalating against a dormant free-zone entity produces an expensive piece of paper and nothing else — and that assessment costs you nothing.
How we work an Ajman claim
The standard five stages, with verification weighted heavily. We establish whether the licence is current, whether the business is still trading, and whether the people behind it are operating under a different entity — which, where a business has been re-established, changes the picture entirely.
Where the debtor is genuinely still trading, Ajman claims resolve at the formal demand stage at a good rate. Small businesses feel a third-party demand more acutely than large ones do.

Ajman FAQs
Common questions
Our debtor's free zone licence appears to have lapsed. Is the debt lost?
Not automatically. It depends on how the entity was wound up, whether the people behind it are trading through a new company, and whether any cheque or personal undertaking exists. All three are worth checking before writing the debt off.
The company is licensed in Ajman but operates in Dubai. Where do we pursue it?
Amicable recovery happens wherever the people actually are, which is usually a practical advantage. Where a claim would formally proceed is established during the assessment.
We hold a cheque from the owner personally. Does that help?
Often significantly, though it depends on how the cheque was drawn and what it was given for. Send it with the claim along with the underlying invoices.
